PROJECT ENTREPRENEUR FOR 5 was approved from European Social Fund within the framework of “Education for Entrepreneurship and Crafts” programme.

Lead partner is Vocational School of Đurđevac.

Project partners are Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Koprivnica Križevci County and PORA Regional Development agency of Podravina and Prigorje.

The project will last for 12 months, from the 20th of July 2015 to the 19th of July 2016.

Total value of the project is 288.087,71 HRK completely funded by EU.

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the decrease in the number of young unemployed individuals in Koprivnica Križevci County by fostering development of entrepreneurial culture in secondary education.

Project activities involved establishment of student cooperative in school that will involve 4 groups: group of journalists, group of beauticians, culinary and confectionery group and the 4th group which will produce decorative and useful objects.

By participating in the activities of all four groups, students will be able to engage in entrepreneurship activities and develop their own products and services. Students will also participate in various fairs where they will develop their marketing skills, and in other events such as Vocational school Đurđevac Open Day, Student cooperatives fair and study visits where they will have the opportunity to see other similar student cooperatives in Croatia. Besides that, they will visit different entrepreneurs in their companies and thus gain valuable experience regarding entrepreneurship.
