PROJECT PROPOSALS APPROVED FOR CO-FUNDING WITHIN HUNGARY-CROATIA IPA CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION PROGRAMME
The first call for Proposals within the framework of IPA Hungary-Croatia Cross Border Cooperation Programme was launched on the 26 of March 2009. 5 project proposals submitted by PORA Development Agency of Podravina and Prigorje were approved for co-funding and PORA participated in all 5 projects as project partner and project associate in cooperation with both Hungarian and Croatian partners.
PROJEKT CROST II – education with the objective to improve development opportunities in the areas near the border
The lead beneficiary was STRDA South Transdanubian regional development Agency from Hungary.
Project partners were Regional development Agency of Slavonia and Baranja d.o.o. for international and regional cooperation, Regional development Agency of Virovitica Podravina County VIDRA and PORA Development Agency of Podravina and Prigorje.
Project associates were Baranya County, Somogy County and Bjelovar-Bilogora County.
Project objective was exchange of knowledge and experience in the cross-border region about the possibilities of cooperation, connecting institutions and preparation of joint project proposals.
Project activities involved organization of 17 workshops on the following topics: small and middle entrepreneurship, innovations and attracting investments, education, health care and social welfare, environment protection and protection of natural heritage, tourism and culture – using culture heritage in tourism. One of the activity was development of educative material. The workshops were organized for the representatives of the institutions and units of local self-government from the project partner’s regions.
Project lasted for 12 months (from the 1st February 2010 to the 31st January 2011).
Total value of the project was 164.245,00 EUR.
