INNOINVEST PROJECT – establishment of business cooperation between innovative stakeholders in cross-border area
INNOINVEST project was approved within the second call for proposals of the Hungary – Croatia IPA Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 as one of three projects joined by PORA Development Agency of Podravina and Prigorje.
The lead beneficiary was South Transdanubian regional innovation agency, Pécs, Hungary.
Project partners were University of Pecs, Regional development agency of Slavonia and Baranja d.o.o., VIDRA – Regional development agency of Virovitica-Podravina County, PORA Development Agency of Podravina and Prigorje, Regional development agency Međimurje – REDEA d.o.o., Pannon novum West Transdanubian regional innovation agency and Entrepreneurs Centre Pakrac d.o.o.
The main objective of the project was to analyze the innovation potential in the project region of Croatian and Hungarian Counties in order to define comparative advantages and support decision makers. One of the objectives of the project was joint promotion of cross-border region for potential investors.
Project activities involved elaboration of regional analysis of innovation potential in the cross-border region, development of joint action plan, establishment of cross-border online database for innovators in the regions near the border such as Virovitica-Podravina County, Koprivnica Križevci County, Osijek Baranja County and Požega Slavonia County on the Croatian side of the border and Zala, Baranya and Somogy Counties on the Hungarian side of the border.
The project lasted for 12 months. Total value of the project was 193.808,91 EUR and the budget granted to PORA was 14.834,00 EUR.
