The Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development has announced the fifth Tender for the implementation of sub-measure 17.1 “Crop, animal and plant insurance”.

The purpose of the tender is to grant support to finance the eligible costs of insurance premiums for insurance policies, and the aim is to encourage farmers to contract insurance for their production in order to reduce the economic losses caused by adverse climatic conditions and animal diseases.

The intensity of public support is up to 70% of the eligible insurance premium, and the maximum amount of annual support per beneficiary is EUR 75,000 for contracted insurance for plant production and EUR 40,000 for contracted insurance for livestock production, in kuna equivalent according to the latest exchange rate set by the European Central Bank before 01 January of the year for which applications for payment of aid were submitted.

The total amount of available funds of public support per tender is HRK 200,000,000.00, of which HRK 150,000,000.00 for plant production and HRK 50,000,000.00 for livestock production.

The deadline for submitting an application for the payment of support and submission of the Application Certificate is from July 25, 2022 until 4:00 p.m. on December 31, 2022.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR M17 USERS

When submitting an application for payment of support, beneficiaries to the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development AGRONET, along with other documentation, upload an insurance policy with which to upload a completed and signed Statement of beneficiaries on the method of determining the value of agricultural production insured on the insurance policy for which co-financing from measure M17 is requested with the accompanying documentation.

All users who have not uploaded this statement and supporting documentation will be sent a request for amendment/justification in accordance with the provisions of the Tender.
