Helping Hand
Project HELPING HAND was approved for funding from European Social Fund within the framework of “The expansion of the network of social services in the community – Phase 3” programme.
Lead partner is Club for the elderly “Mariška”.
Project partners are Koprivnica Križevci County, Croatian Red Cross – Red Cross branch Križevci and PORA Regional Development agency of Podravina and Prigorje.
The project will last for 14 months, from 21st September 2015 to 20th November 2016.
Total value of the project is 1.318.913,18 HRK.

The main objective of the project is to improve the employability of long-term unemployed women and the promotion of harmonization of work and family life by developing new and improving quality of existing social services in the community.
Project activities include implementation of validated training for 35 unemployed people who take care for the elderly, implementation of Startup workshop, implementation of training on how to present yourself to the employer and employment 23 people who take care for the elderly. Also, one of the project activities is the coordination of work in the field of people who take care for the elderly. Except providing salaries for 23 employed women, project will provide a procurement of equipment and supplies needed for the daily work of people who take care for the elderly.
