The JOLLIZ! project (Joint learning Legrad and Zákány) was approved for co-financing within the First Call for Proposals of INTERREG V-A Hungary-Croatia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. Financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The Lead partner was the Kaposvár Education Center.

The project partners were Primary School Legrad and PORA Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica Križevci County.

Project duration was 16 months, from 1st of July 2017 until 31st of October 2018.

The total value of the project is 199,950.00 EUR.

EU co-financing was 85%.

The overall project objective was to develop, through the cooperation of included primary schools, three new thematic cross-border programs on the topics of common culture, history and ecology across the Drava River.

Project activities included the development of a joint curriculum, organization of joint educational events in three main areas (culture, history and the ecology of the Drava River), organization of joint sporting events and the organization of a joint three-day workshop on the topic of regional development.

Results upon completion of the project: strengthened cross-border cooperation between Legrad and Zákány primary schools, three cross-border programs were developed, two summer camps were organized including sports and music events, a trilingual website was developed, new knowledge in the field of culture, history and science was gained and the teachers competences in the fields of regional development and Project Cycle Management were strengthened.
