The project EVERYONE AT THE SAME SCHOOL TABLE was approved for funding within the Open call for project proposals “Provision of school nutrition for children who are at risk of poverty” funded from the Operational Program for Food and Basic Material Assistance 2014-2020 by the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD).

The Lead partner was County of Koprivnica-Križevci.

The project partners were Primary School Koprivnički Bregi, Primary School Fran Koncelak, Primary School Kalnik, Primary School Sveti Petar Orehovec, Primary School Sidonia Rubido Erdody Gornja Rijeka, Primary School Legrad, Primary School Kloštar Podravski, Primary School Ferdinandovac, Primary School “Grigor Vitez” Sveti Ivan Žabno, Primary School Mihovil Pavlek Miškina Đelekovec, Primary School Koprivnicki Ivanec, Primary School Molve, Primary School „Prof. Blaž Madjer “Novigrad Podravski, Primary school Ivana Lacković Croata Kalinovac, Primary school prof. Franjo Viktor Signjar Virje, Primary School Andrija Palmovic Rasinj and Primary school Gola.

Project duration was 10 months, from the 01st of September 2016. until the 30th of June 2017

The total value of the project was 865.366,02 HRK

EU co-financing was 100%.

The overall project objective was to alleviate the worst forms of child poverty in the Koprivnica Križevci County by providing non-financial assistance to children in poverty or at risk of poverty in the form of food distribution in schools.

The purpose of the project was to provide meals for students who live in poverty or are at risk of poverty and to provide them with an equal right to education, improve their quality of life, and reduce the risk of social exclusion.

Project activities included the procurement and distribution of meals to students living in poverty or that are at-risk-of-poverty, project management and administration activities, and activities to ensure the promotion and visibility of the project. The project provided nutrition to a total of 767 students living in poverty or that are at-risk-of-poverty in 18 elementary schools in the Koprivnica Križevci County during the 2016/2017 school year.
