The main objective of the EU COMPASS was to promote the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union by enhancing business relations and knowledge-based market and by transfer of knowledge and experience in using EU funds from Hungarian partners.

Project activities involved two two-day trainings for Croatian project partners who would in turn disseminate new knowledge and experience gained from Hungarian project partners in their own Counties and transfer all relevant information regarding EU calls for proposals and programmes.

All project partners organized forums, workshops and seminars regarding the project preparation for possible beneficiaries of EU grants. They established three information spots in Koprivnica Križevci County, Varaždin County and Virovitica-Podravina County that provide updated information regarding EU and possibilities of using EU grants in public, private and civil society sectors.

Total value of the project was 200.487,93 EUR, and it lasted for 12 months. PORA budged was 20.852,00 EUR.
