Grad Koprivnica

The Town of Koprivnica is an administrative center of the Koprivnica Križevci County. Total area of the town is 91,05 km² and is has 30.854 inhabitants. The Town of Koprivnica consists of the following suburban settlements: Herešin, Starigrad, Draganovec, Jagnjedovac, Kunovec Breg, Štaglinec, Reka and Bakovčice.

The Town of Koprivnica is a geographical and strategic center of Podravina and is situated on the traffic intersection of main European and Croatian railroads and road traffic routes. Through Koprivnica passes the Zagreb-Budapest railway line, Koprivnica-Hungary State road and part of the Podravina’s highway that connects Varaždin with Osijek.

The Town of Koprivnica has organized two business zones: Business zone Dravska and Business zone Radnička.

  

Business zone Radnička is situated in the southern part of Koprivnica in the vicinity of town’s road bypass along the Podravska highway, which is 0,5 km away from the business zone. Along the zone’s border there also passes a Koprivnica-Osijek railway.

Business zone Dravska is situated in the northern part of Koprivnica by the existing industrial zone Danica. A State road Koprivnica-Republic of Hungary passes in the vicinity of the business zone, as well as the Rijeka-Zagreb-Koprivnica-Botovo-Budimpešta railway.
