Europe Direct of Koprivnica-Križevci County project has been approved for funding under the Call for Proposals for the selection of partners to lead Europe Direct in the period 2021-2025. The call is being launched by the European Commission through its Representation in Croatia.

Europe Direct proactively and continuously works with citizens to broaden their sense of ownership of the European project. By organising information and citizen engagement activities, Europe Direct enables them to make informed decisions about the future of the EU by actively participating in the European democratic process.

Europe Direct performs the following tasks:

  • Informing and involving citizens;
  • Relations with local media and information providers;
  • Awareness of sensitive EU topics at the local level;
  • EU in schools;
  • Promoting the regional network of networks

Europe Direct of Koprivnica Križevci County works with the aim of informing the general public about the activities of the European Union and encouraging citizens to participate in discussions about the future of the European Union.

Europe Direct of Koprivnica Križevci County is a member of the Europe Direct network in Croatia, which is in turn part of a pan-European network of centres. These centres bring Europe closer to people on the ground and encourage them to participate in discussions about the future of the EU. The network is managed by the European Commission.
