OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL 2
The project OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL 2 has been approved for funding under the Call for proposals „Ensuring teaching assistants and professional communication intermediaries to students with disabilities in primary and secondary schools, phase II” financed from the European Social Fund.
The Lead partner is Koprivnica-Križevci County.
The project partners are Primary school Sidonije Rubido Erdödy Gornja Rijeka, Primary school Legrad, Primary school Kloštar Podravski, Primary school Andrije Palmovića Rasinja, Primary school Gola, Primary school Koprivnički Bregi, Primary school Sveti Petar Orehovec, Primary school „Grigor Vitez” Sveti Ivan Žabno, Primary school Fran Koncelak Drnje, Primary school Mihovil Pavlek Miškina Đelekovec, Primary school Ivan Lacković Croata Kalinovac, Primary school Koprivnički Ivanec, Primary school Kalnik, Primary school Ferdinandovac, Primary school Sokolovac, Primary school „Prof. Blaž Mađer” Novigrad Podravski, Vocational school Đurđevac, Secondary school Koprivnica, Vocational school Koprivnica, Secondary school „Ivan Seljanec” Križevci, Secondary agriculture school Križevci, Gymnasium of Ivana Zakmardija Dijankovečkoga Križevci and PORA Development Agency of Podravina and Prigorje.
Project duration was 12 months, from August 1st 2016. to July 31st 2027.
Total value of the project was 2.034.335,45 HRK.
EU co-financing was 95%.
The overall objective of the project is to increase the social inclusion and integration of students with disabilities in primary and secondary education institutions in the Koprivnica-Križevci County.
Project activities include a selection process for persons that are qualified to become learning assistants and the implementation of a programme by which 37 learning assistants will be employed for the benefit of 50 students with disabilities in primary and secondary schools, which are founded by Koprivnica-Križevci County, during school year of 2016/2017, organization of a promo campaign and Open Doors Day to influence the sensibilization of parents and families of children with disabilities, school staff, students and the wider community about the need to involve learning assistants into the classrooms.
