The project „WITH PORA TO EU FUNDS“ was approved for financing under the Call for proposal from Priority Axis 10 – Technical Assistance of the Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020” for extension of the regional coordinators activities.

Beneficiary: PORA Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica Križevci County

Project duration: from April 1st 2019 until December 31st 2023

Total project value: 20.016.687,79 HRK

EU co-financing: 85%, which equates to 17.014.184,53 HRK

Overall objective: Provide support to potential beneficiaries in preparation and implementation of EU and national projects and strengthening general capacities of local and regional self-government in order to adequate planning and implementation of all measures related to EU funds.

The purpose of the projects is to strengthen the capacities of employees of the regional coordinator, local and regional self-government and other public institutions from Koprivnica Križevci County in the fields of preparation and implementation of EU projects.

The project consists of one group of activities – Providing the professional assistance in preparation and implementation of development projects, work on strategic planning processes and educational activities and further four sub-activities:

• providing the professional assistance in preparation and implementation of development projects to local and regional self-government and other public institutions from Koprivnica Križevci County
• strategic planning and regional development, creation of the Development plan of Koprivnica Križevci County for new programming period with all additional activities as well as registration of development projects in electronic register of Ministry of regional development and EU funds
• educational and informative activities for local and regional self-government and other public institutions and potential beneficiaries of EU funds from Koprivnica Križevci County
• strengthening the capacities of PORA’s employees through participation on various trainings and events in Croatia and other EU countries.
