Municipality of Virje
Municipality of Virje is located in Koprivnica Križevci County. According to the latest population census from the year 2011 the Municipality has 4.587 inhabitants in an area of 78,55 km2.
Municipality of Virje is composed of the following settlements: Virje, Donje Zdjelice, Hampovica, Miholjanec, Rakitnica and Šemovci.
The Municipality of Virje has very favorable traffic position. It is located on the D2 Koprivnica-Osijek State road and the Zagreb-Koprivnica-Osijek railway line. It is also the intersection of road traffic routes towards Bjelovar.
