Municipality of Gornja Rijeka
Municipality of Gornja Rijeka is situated at the most western part of Koprivnica Križevci County. According to the latest population census from the year 2011 the Municipality of Gornja Rijeka has 1.779 inhabitants in 14 settlements: Barlabaševec, Deklešanec, Donja Rijeka, Dropkovec, Fajerovec, Fodrovec Riječki, Gornja Rijeka, Kolarec, Kostanjevec Riječki, Lukačevec, Nemčevec, Pofuki, Štrigovec and Vukšinec Riječki. The total land area of the Municipality is 32,72 km².
Municipality of Gornja Rijeka has a very convenient traffic location because it is situated very close to the A4 Zagreb–Varaždin highway. A section of D22 Novi Marof–Križevci–Sveti Ivan Žabno State road also passes through the Municipality.
Two business zones are planned for operation in the Municipality area: Business zone Pofuki and Business zone Dropkovec.
